Describe your décor style?
Young preppy traditional mixed with a Southern flair.

Describe your wardrobe style?
Décor and wardrobe are the same!

Where did you find inspiration?
The inspiration for my home has come from the surroundings in which I grew up, mixed with travel, and lots of books!  If I love something, I will usually buy it and find a way to make it work.

How do you feel designing your house is similar to designing your wardrobe?
I consider my fashion style as "preppy with a twist," which totally translates into the style of my home. My wardrobe is all about mixing high and low with touches of vintage, which is exactly how my decor is.  I may splurge on a custom couch or beautiful antique oriental rug, but then again my lucite "ghost" chairs are from TJ Maxx (to people's surprise, I made them look very expensive simply by reupholstering the cushions).  I am also a HUGE fan of going to auctions because you never know what jewels you're going to find, usually at a fraction of the price of what you would purchase them for in an antique store.

Who is your favorite interior designer?
To me, Dorothy Draper was everything because she was Palm Beach chic at it's finest, but, for my style of home, my favorite interior designer is Miles Redd who was a huge inspiration behind the redesign of our family room; he's a genius!

Who is your favorite fashion designer?
My favorite fashion designer is Oscar de la Renta because his designs possess a timeless elegance.  I am drawn to an era when women really took pride in the way that they dressed, and I believe his designs allow a modern day woman still to do that, which is rare today.  I should also mention that he made the most insane caftans EVER.
