As you can imagine each stencil takes time with the number of colors I choose to use. That being said, I still have a ways to go so I don't need back surgery. Will share updates soon!

If you follow me on Instagram you may know that I recently started renovations on what was a quarter bath. With barely any room to stand or even sit on the toilet, it was being used for my kitties' litter boxes. The bathroom is in the master bedroom and is being opened up to be a full bathroom. The bathroom will be small for a master,  with a pedestal sink for a few reasons. One, I care more about the aesthetics than putting in an ugly small vanity and will allow more room for my walk-in closet which will be installed right after. Here are some before and current photos of the bathroom and closet space.

The sweet and talented Laurel Manette and I are working together on doing a full floor to ceiling mural in my guest bedroom. The main inspiration comes from an antique brass bed I found at an estate sale for $350. Just saw similar (not as beautiful) brass bed at an antique mall for $1,300! The anticipation is killing me. Here is a photo of the bed and a sneak peek of the sketch of the mural...

Laurel Manette and I met at a UNICEF Next Gen art show where she was one of the many artists who donated art.  Walked in and instantly was drawn to her art. We met, not knowing she was the artist and instantly connected and have been gabbing, collaborating and inspiring each other ever since!
